Let's Turn Off the Light! (?)
I've just received an e-mail urging people to turn off their lights on February 1, between 7.55 - 8.00 pm. I wonder how does the time difference work, but considering it was originally sent from Spain, I guess we should all start calculating. The reason for this action is the UN climate report that will be released on February 2 (not the 1st, as they say) in Paris. I don't know whether there's anyone out there who actually does this sort of things, but I wouldn't rush into saying that it would be useless. 5 minute worth of saved energy all over the world, but especially in the big cities... I don't see how that could harm us. I'm anxiously waiting for the report, as well.
