Intermezzo

I'm almost done cleaning. What a mess it must've been since I needed so many days to turn the apartment into a welcoming place :P! This doesn't mean this is all I've been doing during the past week. No, the cleaning part was made up of intermittences from other, much more important things... right. Now I've finally decided to decorate our Christmas tree. This is sort of my last chance of doing it, although Christmas is only next Monday. And I truly feel like doing it now, since "I'm in the zone", as they say. I'd been looking for the decorations for about 15 minutes until I eventually found most of them inside the cooler. No idea how they got there! Maybe I should also check the freezer, just in case.

My beloved toaster gave up on me. I'm really going to miss it, it's been with me for 3 years now, I could feel there was something special between us. Thought it would last a lifetime... tears... Now don't go having a nervous breakdown because of my suffering, please! I'm kidding, it's just a toaster! I'll get another one tomorrow, stores are full of them. It's true that I'll have to eat regular bread today, but we all have to make sacrifices once in a while.
